Indian Premier League has served as a perfect platform for local players to showcase their mettle and make a name for themselves. It is absolutely imperative for the players to make an immediate impact from the debut match onwards.
It is always nice to see local players in the country getting proper backing from the team management and the captain. Rightly so, they have defied the odds and came through with flying colors in the games when it mattered the most.

1. Sandeep Sharma
Sandeep Sharma is one of the best economical bowlers in the Indian Premier League. He is one of the bowlers who made an instant impact with the ball ever since he made his IPL debut. Sandeep Sharma took 15 wickets to his credit in his first seven IPL matches. Overall, he took 124 wickets in 116 appearances.
2. Akash Madhwal
Akash Madhwal became a MI pace bowling sensation after he registered 5/5 in 3.3 overs. The 29-year-old comes second on the list in terms of taking the most wickets in the first seven games. He took 13 wickets in the seven games he played so far.

3. Amit Singh
Amit Singh operated as a right-arm medium-pacer for Rajasthan Royals in 2009. He played for the Royals in the first few seasons before he was released by the franchise in 2012. He was one of the bowlers who made a telling impact in the first seven games of the IPL by taking 13 wickets.
4. Sreenath Aravind
Sreenath Aravind earned his IPL contract at Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2011 season. He played 14 games in that season where he took 21 wickets, including a 4-wicket haul. In his first seven games, he took 13 wickets to his name.
