Test cricket is the toughest and the most challenging format in the world. The red ball which is used in this format tends to swing quite a lot compared to the white ball. As a result, it makes it literally tough for the batters to crack the code.

Despite all that, some batters have perfectly assessed the conditions and went about their business. At the same time, it is absolutely imperative for the batters to stitch a significant partnership during the passage of the play.

Case in point, we will learn more about the four players (FAB 4) who were involved in most 200+ partnerships in the longest format of the game.

1. Steve Smith

Australia’s best batsman Steve Smith comes first on the list as he was involved in the most 200+ partnerships in the purest format of the game. The right-handed batter who is currently one of the best batsmen in Test cricket has been involved in twelve 200+ partnerships in Tests. Smith scored 31 centuries, 37 fifties and 4 double centuries.
