West Indies used to be a phenomenal force to be reckoned with in international cricket. Playing against them has never been that easy and churning a win against them has always been a daunting task. West Indies were the first team to win back-to-back World Cups in 1975 and 1979 respectively.
Besides that, they have also been incredible in the T20 World Cup tournament as they won two prestigious titles in 2012 and 2016 respectively. When a player is part of 50 wins against an opponent, it is considered a superb achievement. We will now take a look at the three players who were part of 50 or more wins against West Indies.
1. Ricky Ponting
Australia’s batting great Ricky Ponting can take pride in the fact that he has been a part of the most wins against the Caribbeans as a player. The two-time ODI World Cup-winning captain has piled up 52 wins against the West Indies national cricket team across formats, more than any other player in the history of the sport.

2. Virat Kohli
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli comes next on the list as he has been a part of 50 wins against the West Indies national cricket team across formats so far in his career. Kohli is currently part of India’s tour of West Indies. He was involved in his 50th win as a player after the conclusion of the first ODI at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
