For the record, Virat Kohli is also the leading run-scorer in T20Is with 4008 runs in 115 matches and is the only batsman to complete 4000 runs in T20Is. He scored 1 century and 37 half-centuries and maintained an average of 52.73 at a healthy strike rate of 137.96.

2. Rohit Sharma
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is the second-leading run-scorer in Twenty20 Internationals. Popularly known as Hitman for his incredible six-hitting abilities, Rohit Sharma has well and truly entertained the fans with his exquisite batting technique.
Having played 148 T20Is so far, the experienced campaigner scored 3853 runs at an average of 31.32 including 4 centuries and 29 fifties. He is the only cricketer to score four centuries in T20Is.
3. KL Rahul
KL Rahul comes third on the list as he is the third-leading run-scorer for India in Twenty20 Internationals. The right-handed batsman is known for his potential to play classy drives and magnificent sixes.
KL Rahul has played 72 T20Is for India wherein he scored 2265 runs at an average of 37.75 including two centuries and 22 half-centuries.
