He is currently the second-leading run-scorer in Tests among active cricketers. Steve Smith averages 65 against India in Tests. On top of that, he scored 1727 runs in England including six centuries and 7 fifties. He is one of the players to watch out for against India in the WTC Final.

2. Pat Cummins

Australia’s Test captain Pat Cummins was last seen in cricketing action during the Border Gavaskar Trophy series in India. He played the first two Tests of the series before he was ruled out of the series owing to personal reasons.

The experienced fast bowler is expected to perform well in the final. He has taken 46 wickets against India and 29 wickets in the English conditions. The Oval wicket usually offers a good bounce and Cummins will make use of the conditions by generating a bit of movement to upset the batters.
