Predicting The Indian XI for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship Final-compressed

The ICC World Test Championship Final between India and Australia is just around the corner. The intriguing battle between the two giants will kick off at The Kennington Oval in London. Both teams have top players at their disposal who are capable of putting on a good show.

What really matters is to perform well in clutch moments of the game, which is the only way forward. Australia reached their first-ever ICC World Test Championship final and they will be looking to make their presence count in the crucial event.

On the other hand, India reached the second consecutive ICC WTC final. Unfortunately, they failed to get the job done in the final of the previous edition as they lost to the New Zealand cricket team by 8 wickets. India will give it all in the upcoming final in a bid to end their ICC title drought.

Australia are known for their reputation for producing a masterful and complete performance in the majority of the ICC events. This is the reason why they are a formidable force to be reckoned with in the major competitions.

Predicting the Indian XI for ICC WTC Final against Australia

Rohit Sharma will be leading the team from the front and it is his first-ever ICC WTC final as captain. He will be opening the innings alongside talented Shubman Gill whereas India’s Test specialist Cheteswar Pujara would come in at No.3. Pujara has been playing County cricket of late and should be good to go against the Aussies.

The former Indian captain Virat Kohli who has been in a rich vein of form of late comes next whereas the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, KS Bharat and Ravindra Jadeja come next on the list. Axar Patel who has been in terrific form in Test cricket will be looking to continue his good form.

Shardul Thakur is expected to deliver the goods with the ball and bat. He can serve as a lower-order batsman and also operate as a productive paceman who is capable of getting crucial breakthroughs. The primary pace battery comprises Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami.
